Raw Ration Miscellaneous Items Emergency Medicines Supply Tender Notice

Description

Supply of raw ration, miscellaneous items and emergency medicines for District Jail Abbottabad for the financial year 2026-2027 with an estimated procurement value of approximately PKR 50,000,000. Bids shall be submitted through the EPAD e-procurement system by contractors registered with sales tax, income tax and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority. Electronic bids shall be uploaded by 2026-07-21 at 10:00 AM and opened online on the same day at 11:00 AM before the procurement committee and bidder representatives. Tender documents and the list of required items may be downloaded from the prescribed websites and uploaded through EPAD. A call deposit equal to 20 percent of the tender value issued by a scheduled bank in the name of the Superintendent District Jail Abbottabad shall be uploaded with the bid and the original must be submitted before bid opening. All applicable taxes including income tax, sales tax, professional tax and stamp duty shall be paid under prevailing laws. Bidders shall provide certified bank statements, audited financial statements for the previous three years and firms having at least three years' experience in ration supply to government institutions shall be given preference where quoted rates are equal. Failure to supply on time or supply of substandard goods may result in purchase from the open market at the contractor's risk, deduction of the price difference, legal action and blacklisting. The procurement committee may reject any or all bids with reasons. Successful bidders shall execute an agreement and furnish a performance guarantee equal to 8 percent of the contract value. Bidders shall also provide the required certificate under Section 15 of the KPFS&HFA Act, 2014.
