Raw Ration Miscellaneous Items District Jail Kohat Tender Notice

Description

Electronic tenders are invited for the supply of raw ration and miscellaneous items for District Jail Kohat for the financial year 2026-2027 with an estimated procurement value of approximately PKR 55,000,000. Interested contractors registered with sales tax, income tax and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority shall submit bids through the EPADS e-procurement system. Online bids shall be submitted by 2026-07-24 at 11:00 AM and opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of available bidder representatives and the procurement committee. Tender documents, lists of required items and related documents may be downloaded from the EPADS, KPPRA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Prisons websites. A call deposit equal to 20 percent of the tender value issued by a scheduled bank in the name of Superintendent District Jail Kohat shall be uploaded through EPADS and the original shall be submitted before bid opening, otherwise the bid shall be rejected. Contractors shall pay all applicable taxes including income tax, sales tax, professional tax and stamp duty under the prevailing laws. Delayed or substandard supplies may result in procurement from the open market at the contractor's risk, recovery of additional costs, legal action and blacklisting. The procurement committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids with valid reasons. Final approval shall be granted by the Deputy Inspector General Prisons South Region Dera Ismail Khan. All supplies shall be delivered to the main gate of District Jail Kohat. Call deposits shall be verified by the issuing bank. Bidders shall produce the certificate required under Section 15 of the KPFS&HFA Act, 2014, otherwise the bid shall be treated as non-responsive. The successful bidder shall execute an agreement and furnish a performance guarantee equal to 20 percent of the contract value in the form of a bank guarantee. If the bid opening day is declared a public holiday, bids shall be opened on the next working day.
