Description

Procurement of hospital goods, equipment and services including X-ray films, stationery, biomedical gases, uniforms, protective clothing, medical waste items, bedding and clothing, other store items, electrical items, air conditioning materials, biomedical accessories and instruments, implants for orthopedic and neurosurgery, surgical instruments, information technology items, photocopy machines, computer accessories, repair of medical and laboratory equipment, repair and maintenance of information technology equipment, internet services, repair of vehicles and repair of plant and machinery. Eligible manufacturers, sole distributors, general order suppliers and authorized sole agents or sole importers registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities may participate. Procurement shall be conducted entirely through E-PADS using the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure under Rule 38(2)(a) of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Electronic technical and financial bids must be uploaded through E-PADS. Bid security equal to 2% of the estimated quoted price shall be furnished in the form of Call Deposit Receipt, Bank Guarantee or Bank Draft, with the original submitted to the Purchase Cell before bid closing. Bid validity shall be 180 days. Manual bids shall not be accepted. Applicable federal and provincial taxes shall be borne by the contractor. In case of a public holiday, submission and opening shall take place on the next working day at the same time and venue. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with the applicable procurement rules.
