Food Ration Miscellaneous Items Emergency Medicines Supply Tender Notice

Description

Supply of food ration, miscellaneous items and emergency medicines for Central Jail Karak for the financial year 2026-2027 with an estimated procurement value of approximately Rs. 30,000,000. Procurement shall be conducted through the E-Procurement System (EPADS). Eligible bidders shall be registered with Sales Tax, Income Tax and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority. Electronic bids shall be submitted through EPADS by 11:00 AM on the closing date and will be opened online at 11:30 AM on the same day in the presence of bidders and the procurement committee. Interested bidders shall register on the KPPRA portal and upload all required tender documents. Bid security equal to 20% of the estimated tender value in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt issued by a scheduled bank in favour of the Superintendent Central Jail Karak shall be uploaded on EPADS and the original Call Deposit Receipt shall be submitted before bid opening, otherwise the bid shall be treated as non-responsive. All applicable government taxes including Income Tax, Sales Tax, Professional Tax, Stamp Duty and other applicable taxes shall be payable. Successful bidders shall execute an agreement and furnish a Performance Guarantee equal to 5% of the contract value in the form of a Bank Guarantee. All supplies shall be delivered to the main gate of Central Jail Karak. Delayed or substandard supplies may result in recovery of additional costs, legal action and blacklisting. Bidders shall also provide a valid certificate issued under Section 15 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority Act, 2014, otherwise the bid shall be considered non-responsive. The competent committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and final approval shall be granted by the Deputy Inspector General Prisons South Region.
