Marala Barrage Toll Tax Collection Rights Auction Tender Notice
Description
Public auction for the collection rights of toll tax at Marala Barrage for the financial year 2026-2027. Sealed bids are invited and will be opened before the Auction Committee. The reserve price for the eleven-month contract is Rs. 32,039,952 and bidders shall submit bid security equal to 5% of the reserve price in the form of Call Deposit, Bank Draft or Pay Order in favour of Executive Engineer, Marala Division UCC. The successful bidder shall deposit the full bid amount together with one month advance instalment in the prescribed form and execute the agreement in accordance with applicable rules. Income tax shall be deducted at the prevailing rates for filers and non-filers. Toll tax rates are prescribed for buses, trucks, tractor trolleys, commercial vehicles, cars, jeeps, pickup taxis and other specified vehicles, while exempted vehicles include specified government, military, police, ambulance, Rescue 1122 and Irrigation Department vehicles. If the first auction is unsuccessful, re-auctions will be held on 11-08-2026 and 18-08-2026 at the same venue and time. Toll collection concession includes toll plaza operation, revenue collection, bridge toll management, transport user charges and concession contract for public infrastructure.
