Supply Of Food Commodities For Central Jail Tender Notice
Description
Procurement of food commodities for Central Jail on delivered-at-gate basis for the period from 15-08-2026 to 28-09-2026. Items include red lentils (Masoor Dal) - mung lentils - mash lentils - rock salt - ajinomoto - cumin - raisins - black pepper - turmeric. Procurement shall be conducted through Punjab e-Procurement System using Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure comprising separate technical and financial proposals. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Punjab e-Procurement System, Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities. Technical proposals shall include bidding documents, bid security in the form of Call Deposit Receipt, previous three years bank statements, Rs.100 stamp paper affidavit, work orders of similar assignments completed during the previous three years, national identity card and other required documents. Bid security equal to 2% of the estimated cost shall be uploaded with the technical proposal and the original CDR and original affidavit shall be submitted before bid opening. Performance guarantee equal to 5% of the contract value shall be furnished by the successful bidder. Unsigned, unstamped, overwritten, incomplete or illegible bids shall be rejected. Supplies must comply with Pakistan Pure Food Rules 1965 as amended in 2011 and Punjab Pure Food Regulations 2018. Blacklisted firms are not eligible to participate. Procurement shall be governed by Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended.
