Conservation Taxila Railway Station Tender Notice
Description
Conservation of Taxila Railway Station through a restoration and conservation project. The Directorate General of Archaeology, Punjab invites electronic bids through ePADS from firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and having specialization code BC-02 for Restoration and Conservation, with relevant experience in conservation projects. The estimated cost is Rs.100 million and earnest money is 5% of the estimated cost, with a validity period of 90 days beyond the bid submission date, submitted through PSID generated by the e-Procurement System in favor of the Director General Archaeology. Technical and financial bids must be submitted electronically by September 10, 2026 at 02:00 PM and technical bids will be opened at 02:30 PM the same day. A pre-bid meeting will be held on August 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Bidding shall follow the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure under clause 38 of PPRA Rules 2014, as amended. Bidders must quote rates against each DNIT or BOQ item rather than percentage rates and completely fill rate analysis and summary pages; blank entries or incomplete BOQs will be non-responsive. The work will be awarded to the lowest bidder after correction of arithmetic errors, with quoted unit rates prevailing where discrepancies occur. The completion time is June 15, 2027. Corrupt, unreadable, virus-containing or incorrectly submitted electronic bids will be rejected.
