Description
Auction for the rights to collect toll tax at Mailsi Syphon Cum Barrage for 292 days from 12 September 2026 to 30 June 2027. The approved second revised reserve price for 365 days is Rs. 24,602,216. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Executive Engineer, Mailsi Syphon Division Thingi by 9 September 2026 at 12:00 PM and will be opened at 12:30 PM the same day in the presence of bidders or authorized representatives. Earnest money is required at 5% of the reserve price in the form of CDR. Bid documents are available during office hours, and contractors must provide attested CNIC, specimen signature and Power of Attorney where applicable. The successful bidder must provide a bank guarantee equal to 10% of the total bid amount in addition to earnest money. The bid amount is payable in twelve installments with taxes in advance, while operation and maintenance expenses are borne by the lessee. Toll tax will be levied according to the approved government schedule, and income tax at 10% of the bid price plus applicable taxes is payable. Conditional bids are not entertained and acceptance of the highest bid rests with the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Multan Zone.
