Description

Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a solar system with capacity of 300KW power solution at Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari, Karachi. The procurement follows Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure under SPPRA Rules 2010, with a bid security of 3% of the quoted bid amount, completion period of 03 months and tender fee of Rs. 3,000. Participating firms must submit bid security in the prescribed form and provide latest SECP, FBR and SRB certificates with the technical proposal. Bidders must possess valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration in Category C-4 or above with the specified specialized codes including EE04, EE03, CE10, ME06, ME-07(V), EE11(vi), EE11 solar installation, ME05 and EE11(vv), along with relevant registration or incorporation and a valid electrical inspector licence issued by the Government of Sindh. Firms must satisfy the eligibility criteria in the bidding documents, demonstrate similar works executed during the last three years including at least two completed works costing Rs. 50 million each, and demonstrate average annual turnover of not less than Rs. 100 million during the last three years based on online annual returns submitted to FBR. Technical and financial proposals must be separately sealed, signed and stamped and placed in one sealed envelope. An affidavit on Rs. 500 stamp paper confirming that the bidder has never been blacklisted by a Government Department is required. Applicable federal, provincial and local taxes are to be borne by the bidder.
