Description
Relocation of HT/LT poles, lines and transformers for widening and clearance of Ward 5 and adjacent bazaars of Municipal Committee Mandi Bahauddin. The estimated cost is Rs. 99.368 million and bid security is 5%, amounting to Rs. 4,968,400. The procurement is conducted through the Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure under the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 and is open to eligible contractors, companies and firms enlisted or renewed for financial year 2026-27 under Punjab Local Government Works Rules 2017, MRS 2nd Bi-Annual 2026 and registered on the Punjab E-Procurement System. Bidders must submit separate electronic bids through the Punjab E-Procurement System by 12:30 PM on September 23, 2026, with bids opening at 01:00 PM on the same day in the office of the Municipal Committee Mandi Bahauddin. Bid security must be submitted through an online receipt from the Bank of Punjab in favour of Municipal Committee Mandi Bahauddin, with scanned copy uploaded online and original receipt submitted by the closing time. Original registration documents from PEC, SECP, FBR, PRA and other relevant authorities are required for verification. The successful bidder must provide a 10% performance guarantee and may be required to furnish additional performance security under the Punjab Local Government (Works) Rules 2017. Item-wise rates must be clearly quoted and incomplete, ambiguous, non-readable, unsigned or non-stamped bids will be rejected. A formal agreement must be executed within seven days of the acceptance letter.
