Description
Rehabilitation and improvement of S.E Highway from Dar-ul-Sakina Road to Old Bypass Chiniot Road, District Jhang, having a length of 3.45 KM, with an estimated DNIT cost of Rs. 135.718 million and bid security of Rs. 6.786 million. Participation is limited to engineering firms or contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category or codes and holding a valid renewed PEC licence for Financial Year 2026-27, as well as registration on the Punjab PPRA website. Bid security equal to 5% of estimated cost must be submitted through digital online payment via the Punjab e-Procurement System linked with Bank of Punjab, and physical securities are not accepted. The lowest evaluated bidder must submit performance security of 10% of contract amount within 15 days of receipt of the offer letter through the prescribed digital payment system. Bidders must quote item rates and total amounts for each item and the grand total, while percentage-above or percentage-below quotations will not be accepted. Rigid pavement must be laid using a concrete batching plant and concrete paving machine, and TST, DST and surfacing works must be executed by mechanized system. Successful bidders claims for work done shall be submitted electronically and processed through Digital Measurement Book, and price variation cost overrun is not admissible. The tender concerns highway rehabilitation, road improvement, rigid pavement, TST, DST and mechanized road surfacing works.
