Description

Beautification, decorative lighting and allied works along Brand Road, College Road and other main roads within Municipal Corporation Sahiwal. The estimated cost is PKR 19,768,000 and bid security is PKR 988,400, equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost. Eligible contractors and firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes and hold GST, NTN and Punjab Sales Tax registrations. Bidders must also be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bidding will follow the single-stage, single-envelope procedure, and bids must be submitted electronically with digital bid security in the form of a valid digital bank guarantee; physical CDRs, pay orders and demand drafts will not be accepted. Bids without valid digital bid security will be rejected. Bidders must quote unit rates against each item in both figures and words using the prescribed price schedule, with the total calculated by multiplying each unit rate by the relevant quantity. The successful bidder must furnish performance security equal to 10% of the contract price under Rule 56 of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. After uploading bids, contractors may attend the designated office for retrieval of bids and announcement of quoted rates and the successful bidder in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Submission of false information or documents may result in disqualification and blacklisting, with recommendations to PPRA and PEC. The procuring agency may increase or decrease item quantities before or after issuance of the work order. The successful bidder must conduct required quality-control tests at its own expense. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids before acceptance under Rule 35.
