Street Lighting Bypass Road Installation Tender Notice
Description
Providing and fixing street lights from Bail Chowk and Kashmir Chowk to Kalma Chowk Bypass Road, Layyah, within the limits of Municipal Committee Layyah through a joint authority arrangement with the Municipal Committee Layyah. The estimated cost is PKR 42,851,145, and bid security is PKR 2,142,557, equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost. Eligible contractors, firms and manufacturers registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System may participate. Bidding will follow the single-stage single-envelope procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, as amended. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System by the deadline specified in the procurement activity documents; the printed notice contains incomplete closing and opening dates. Bid security must be paid digitally through the system linked with the Bank of Punjab; physical CDRs, pay orders and demand drafts are not accepted. If the lowest bid is more than 5% below the DNIT, the bidder must deposit 10% performance security. The successful contractor must execute the agreement on the prescribed stamp paper within seven days of the acceptance letter.
