Description

Framework contract for day-to-day local purchase of medicines, surgical disposable items and medical devices, vaccines and sera for Tehsil Headquarters Level Government City Hospital Jhang City for financial year 2026-27. The estimated contract value is Rs. 4 million. Bidding will follow open competitive bidding under the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, as amended. Eligible bidders must upload separate technical and financial proposals through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Only pharmacies holding a valid Drug Sale Licence on Form 9 for pharmacies are eligible to supply medicines. Bidders must submit bid security equal to 2 percent of the total estimated price electronically through the designated Bank of Punjab mechanism; physical CDRs, pay orders, bank drafts and bank guarantees are not accepted. Bidding documents containing specifications, quantities, estimated rates and contract conditions are available online free of tender fee. Bids must be properly page-marked, arranged in the prescribed sequence and signed and stamped on every page by an authorized person. Bids will be opened in the presence of representatives who choose to attend at the office of the Medical Superintendent. Bidders should submit their best and final prices, as negotiations are not expected. If the submission or opening date is a public holiday or non-working day, the next working day will apply. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject bids under applicable procurement rules.
