Rehabilitation Improvement Metalled Roads Tender Notice

Description

Rehabilitation, improvement and reconstruction of metalled roads under four schemes: Adda Mandorin to Basti Patti Sayedan, length 1.65 km; Mahra Road to Basti Mundhera, length 2.00 km; MP Road to Basti Akbar Wala, length 1.30 km; and Muzaffargarh Canal to Qasim Agency Ahmed Mohana, length 1.50 km. The completion period for each scheme is 3 months. Eligible engineering firms and contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes and registered on the Punjab PPRA website. Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System linked with Bank of Punjab; physical bid securities and banking instruments are not accepted. The lowest evaluated bidder must submit a performance guarantee equal to 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of receipt of the offer letter, through the permitted instruments and subject to the stated validity requirements. Financial proposals must quote item rates, amounts against each item and the grand total; percentage rates above or below the approved cost are not accepted. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bids will be retrieved and the successful bidder's quoted rate announced before the Tender Opening Committee on 2026-10-30 at 11:00 AM at the Commissioner's office. Rigid pavement must be laid using a concrete batching plant and concrete paving machine, while TST, DST and surfacing works must use a mechanized system. Recovery against credit of old material will be adjusted during evaluation. Contractors' claims must be submitted electronically, and price variation is not admissible. Submission of fake information or documents may result in disqualification and blacklisting. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject bids under Clause 35 of the PPRA Rules 2014.
