Description

Local purchase of drugs, medicines, surgical consumables, disposables, medical devices and allied items for Dow University of Health Sciences. Procurement is conducted through electronic bids on the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System under the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010, using the single-stage one-envelope procedure under Rule 46(1). Bids are invited on a DDP basis excluding GST from eligible bidders appearing on the Federal Board of Revenue or Sindh Revenue Board active taxpayers list, as applicable. Bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions can be viewed or downloaded from the Sindh e-procurement portal and the university website. Bids must be submitted exclusively through EPADS by 3 November 2026 at 11:00 AM; manual bids are not accepted. The non-refundable tender fee is PKR 2,000. Bid security of PKR 500,000 is required for each of three categories: locally manufactured drugs, medicines, contrast media and allied items; imported drugs, medicines, contrast media and allied items; and surgical consumables, disposables, medical devices and allied items. Bidders participating in multiple categories must submit one aggregated bid security instrument covering the total required amount. The original tender fee instrument and bid security must reach the Procurement Directorate at the Central Warehouse, Ojha Campus, before bid opening on 3 November 2026 at 11:30 AM. Bidders must register on EPADS. In case of a public holiday or specified adverse circumstances, submission and opening will take place on the next working day at the same time. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids under the applicable Sindh procurement rules.
