Description

Procurement of 200 brand-new dialysis machines and a compatible high-capacity reverse osmosis water purification system meeting international water quality standards as one integrated package. The scope includes supply and installation of the RO system, complete RO looping and plumbing from the RO room to the dialysis ward for 200 machines according to the provided drawings, installation, testing, calibration and commissioning, and on-site training of medical and technical staff within two weeks after commissioning. Complimentary disinfectant solution must be supplied for 2.5 years. A comprehensive six-year warranty must cover repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance, and spare parts at no additional cost. The estimated procurement cost is PKR 450,000,000, with bid security equal to 1% of the estimated cost, amounting to PKR 4,500,000, through a call deposit receipt, demand draft or pay order in favour of the procuring society. Bid validity is 180 days. Manufacturers, authorised distributors, authorised dealers and suppliers may participate through open competitive bidding under the single-stage two-envelope procedure. Detailed bidding documents, technical specifications and evaluation criteria are available from the procurement department during office hours against a non-refundable fee of PKR 5,000. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes. Partial and conditional bids will not be accepted. Only financial proposals of technically qualified bidders will be opened according to a schedule notified to those bidders. Late submissions will not be entertained, and the procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids without assigning a reason.
