Local Purchase Medicines Surgical Consumables Tender Notice
Description
Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi invites electronic bids on Delivered Duty Paid terms, excluding GST, for local purchase of drugs, medicines, surgical consumables, disposables, medical devices and allied items. Bidding follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure under Rule 46(1) of Sindh Public Procurement Rules. Eligible bidders must appear on the active taxpayer list of FBR or SRB, as applicable, and register on the Sindh EPADS platform. Bids must be submitted electronically by 11:00 AM on 3 November 2026; manual bids are not accepted. The original non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 2,000 and bid security must reach the Procurement Directorate at the Central Warehouse, Ojha Campus, before the 11:30 AM opening on the same day. The required bid security is Rs. 500,000 for each category: locally manufactured medicines, imported medicines, and surgical consumables, disposables and medical devices. Bidders applying for multiple categories must provide one security instrument aggregating the required category amounts. If a public holiday or other adverse circumstance occurs, submission and opening will move to the next working day at the same time and venue. The university reserves the right to reject bids under the relevant Sindh procurement rules.
