Hydraulic Barrier Elevator Repair Plant Equipment Malakand Tender Notice
Description
Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization invites electronic bids for three works at the 81 MW Malakand-III Hydropower Complex, Dargai, Malakand: procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of a hydraulic barrier; repair of the powerhouse elevator by installing a new electronic controller; and procurement of different types of plant and equipment. Bidding will follow the Single Stage One Envelope procedure under KPPRA Rules. Bidders must hold active registration with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and Federal Board of Revenue and an active FBR Sales Tax Registration Number. Bid solicitation documents must be downloaded from EPADS, and bids submitted electronically with security equal to 2% of the total bid price in Pakistani rupees through bank draft or CDR in favour of CEO, PEDO, valid for 28 days beyond bid validity. The hydraulic barrier bid closes at 10:00 AM on 3 November 2026 and opens at 10:30 AM; the elevator repair bid closes at 10:30 AM and opens at 11:00 AM; the plant and equipment bid closes at 11:00 AM and opens at 11:30 AM. Opening will take place in the Main Committee Room, PEDO House, Hayatabad, Peshawar. Completion periods are as specified in the work order. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids under Rule 47(1) of KPPRA Rules 2014. Pro Tip: Hydropower contractors and equipment suppliers should select the correct lot, confirm active KPRA and FBR status, calculate 2% bid security and meet the distinct submission and opening times for each package.
