Operation Management Kitchen Cafeteria Services Tender Notice

Description

Operation and management of the kitchen and cafeteria at Gilgit-Baltistan House Islamabad. Sealed bids are invited from reputable and experienced catering firms, contractors and caterers. Tender documents containing detailed terms and conditions, item lists, specifications and relevant details may be obtained from the office during working hours before the closing deadline. Earnest money of PKR 250,000 must accompany the bid in the form of a demand draft or pay order in favour of the Chief Comptroller, Gilgit-Baltistan House Islamabad. The Single Stage Two Envelope procedure will be followed, with separate technical and financial proposals clearly marked and submitted in separate envelopes; proposals placed in a single envelope will be rejected. Evaluation will follow a 70:30 weighting formula, comprising 70% for the technical proposal and 30% for the financial proposal. Bidders must submit an original affidavit on PKR 100 stamp paper, prepared after publication of the notice, confirming that the firm has never been blacklisted by any government, semi-government, autonomous body or public-sector organization. Firms must hold relevant registration and valid income tax and sales tax registration certificates where applicable. A minimum of five years of experience in running and maintaining similar services in the government, semi-government or private sector is required, supported by supply orders, experience certificates or other proof. The successful bidder must pay a non-refundable amount of PKR 700,000 for gas, electricity, water and rent before commencement of the contract. Incomplete, late and unsupported bids, as well as bids containing false or misleading documents, will not be entertained. The administration reserves the right to accept or reject bids under GB-PPRA Rule 36(1). The procurement concerns cafeteria operation, catering services, kitchen management, food service operations and institutional catering contracts.
