Laboratory Equipment Procurement Tender Notice
Description
Procurement of laboratory equipment for the Department of Food Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Engineering and Technology, New Campus, Kala Shah Kaku. Eligible bidders include manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, suppliers, dealers, sales agents, reputable firms and companies, and joint ventures where applicable, registered with the relevant authorities for income tax, sales tax and Punjab sales tax. Bids must be submitted online through the Punjab e-Procurement System under the single-stage, two-envelope procedure comprising technical and financial proposals. Bidding documents are available free of cost to registered bidders on the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website and Punjab e-Procurement System after publication. Each bid must include electronic bid security of Rs. 75,000, stated as 5% of the estimated amount, in accordance with system requirements; otherwise, the bid will be rejected as non-responsive. The submission deadline is 9 November 2026 at 10:00 AM, and bids will be opened online on the same day at 10:30 AM. Manual bids are not accepted. The university reserves the right to reject all bids before acceptance under Rule 35 of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. If the opening date is declared a public holiday or non-working day, bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time.
