Description

Supply, installation, testing, commissioning, validation and user and technical training for Central Sterile Services Department equipment during financial year 2026-27. Lot 1 covers one low-temperature hydrogen peroxide plasma sterilizer of 150-litre class with standard accessories and start-up consumables. Lot 2 covers one 600-litre pre-vacuum steam sterilizer with built-in steam generator, loading accessories and reverse-osmosis water treatment plant, plus a CSSD double-tank sink unit and instrument-cleaning spray gun set. A comprehensive three-year warranty is required. Eligible manufacturers or authorized agents and distributors must be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and hold a valid DRAP Establishment Licence. Bidding follows the Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure under Rule 6(2)(b) of the KPPRA Rules, with evaluation and award on a lot-wise basis. Bidders may bid for one or both lots but must submit a separate, complete bid for each lot, quoting all items within the selected lot. Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost of each lot must be provided as a Call Deposit Receipt from a scheduled bank in favour of KMUH Security Account. A scanned copy must be uploaded with the financial envelope and the original delivered in a sealed envelope to the Chairman Purchase Committee before the submission deadline. The technical proposal must include the prescribed affidavit confirming placement of bid security without stating its amount. E-bids must be submitted by 10 November 2026 at 10:30 AM and technical proposals open at 11:00 AM the same day at the KMU Hospital Committee Room. Financial proposals will be opened only for technically qualified bidders after the technical evaluation report. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 27 October 2026 at 11:00 AM, with written queries accepted until that date. Pro Tip: CSSD equipment manufacturers and authorized medical-equipment distributors should check sterilizer capacity, accessories, RO treatment requirements, validation, training and the three-year warranty. Prepare a separate complete bid for each lot, verify the DRAP licence, and ensure the original 5% security instrument reaches the Purchase Committee before the deadline.
