Framework Contract For Purchase Of Chemical Fertilizers Tender Notice

Description

Principal Scientist Soil Fertility, Faisalabad, invites sealed electronic bids from firms, companies and general order suppliers engaged in fertilizer trading and registered with relevant registration and tax authorities, including Income Tax, Sales Tax and Punjab Sales Tax authorities, for purchase of chemical fertilizers. The procurement comprises eleven items: urea fertilizer in 50 kg bags - DAP fertilizer in 50 kg bags - Sona Boron DAP in 50 kg bags - SOP fertilizer in 50 kg bags - SSP fertilizer with P2O5 content of 18% in 50 kg bags - MOP fertilizer in 50 kg bags - Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN), fertilizer grade, in 50 kg bags - Nitrophos, fertilizer grade, in 25 kg bags - Boric Acid, fertilizer grade, in 25 kg bags - Zinc Sulphate, fertilizer grade, in 25 kg bags - Sulphur, fertilizer grade, in 50 kg bags. The specified quantities are respectively 50, 43, 2, 18, 10, 7, 4, 5, 1, 3 and 1 bags. The estimated cost is PKR 2,000,000 and bid security is 2%, amounting to PKR 40,000. The procurement will follow the Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure, and the framework contract will be awarded for the lot as a whole, remaining valid up to 30 June 2027. Bids must be submitted online through Punjab e-Procurement System by 16 November 2026 at 10:30 AM. Each bid must include digital bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost through a PSID generated by the e-Procurement system. Late bids will not be entertained. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. Bidders may obtain clarification from the office of Principal Scientist Soil Fertility, Faisalabad, between 29 October 2026 and 06 November 2026 during office hours from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM. The bid validity period is 120 days. Bidding documents will be available after publication on the official Punjab e-Procurement website. Manual bids will not be accepted. In case of an official holiday on the submission date, the next day will be treated as the closing date. The procuring agency will not be responsible for expenses incurred in preparing or delivering bids. The procurement is governed by the applicable Punjab procurement framework.
