Description
Construction of an HDPE force main for Kotla Zareef Khan Disposal, Municipal Committee Shorkot. Estimated cost is PKR 35,500,000 and bid security is 5%, equivalent to PKR 1,775,000, payable online through Punjab e-Procurement System before bid upload. Eligible firms, contractors and companies must be financially sound, enlisted with relevant departments, registered on Punjab e-Procurement System and with applicable income tax, sales tax, PRA and professional tax authorities, and registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-5 or above. A fresh affidavit confirming that the bidder has not been blacklisted by PPRA and is not currently in litigation is required. Single Stage Two Envelope procedure applies; only technically responsive bidders qualify for opening of financial bids. The lowest evaluated responsive bid will be considered after approval by the competent authority. Successful bidder must furnish performance guarantee under Rule 56 of PPRA Rules 2014; additional performance security may apply under Punjab Local Government (Works) Rules 2017 where the lowest bid is equal to or less than 5% of estimated cost. Bid validity is 120 days. Conditional, incomplete, ambiguous, unsigned, unstamped or unreadable bids will be rejected. Pro Tip: Prepare a PEC C-5 or higher civil works bid with the required tax registrations, fresh affidavit, item-wise readable rates, electronic 5% bid security and readiness to furnish the applicable performance guarantee.
