Description

Construction of base shed at General Bus Stand, Ahmadpur East. Estimated cost is Rs. 4,151,474 and earnest money equal to 5% is Rs. 207,574. Municipal Committee Ahmadpur East invites bids from contractors enlisted or renewed with Pakistan Engineering Council for the stated financial year 2025-26. Procurement will follow Single Stage One Envelope procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Where the lowest quoted tender rate is below the estimated cost, the lowest bidder must deposit additional performance security from a scheduled bank equal to the applicable percentage of estimated cost, including the CDR deposited at tender stage, within five days of issuance of notice. Failure to deposit the required amount will result in forfeiture of the 5% deposit and initiation of re-tendering. Conditional, unsigned, incomplete, cut, overwritten or doubtful bids will be rejected. Contractors issued work orders must conduct required quality control tests at their own expense. Non-responsive bids will be rejected. The procuring agency may reject all bids before acceptance under Rule 35 of Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and, upon request, communicate the grounds for rejection without being required to justify them.
