Description

Municipal Committee Chakwal invites electronic bids from eligible contractors, firms and companies registered with Pakistan Engineering Council, Federal Board of Revenue, Punjab Revenue Authority and Punjab e-procurement system, possessing valid NTN, PNTN and Active Taxpayer Status, for three development schemes. The procurement comprises Renovation of Iqbal Library Chakwal, District Chakwal, with an estimated cost of Rs. 9,992,000 and bid security of Rs. 499,600, technical sanction No. 42/MC-GK dated 3 November 2026 and completion period of two months - Construction of Street and Drains near Islamic Bank, Jhelum Road, Municipal Committee Chakwal, with an estimated cost of Rs. 5,681,000 and bid security of Rs. 284,050, technical sanction No. 43/MC-GK dated 3 November 2026 and completion period of two months - Construction of Street and Drains Street No. 17C Mohallah Kazimabad, Municipal Committee Chakwal, with an estimated cost of Rs. 3,469,000 and bid security of Rs. 173,450, technical sanction No. 44/MC-GK dated 3 November 2026 and completion period of two months. Bidding will be conducted under the Single Stage One Envelope procedure exclusively through the Punjab e-procurement system. Bid security equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost of each scheme must be submitted in the prescribed electronic form. Complete electronic bids must be submitted by 21 November 2026 at 11:00 AM and will be opened on the same day at 1:30 PM. Bids will remain valid for 120 days from the opening date. Bidders must quote item-wise unit rates strictly according to the BOQ and bidding documents and upload all mandatory eligibility, technical and financial documents. Valid PEC constructor licences for 2026 with relevant specialization and category covering the estimated cost of the respective scheme are mandatory. Missing, expired, invalid or inadequate registration will render bids non-responsive. Conditional, incomplete, late, misleading or bids without valid bid security will be rejected. Contractors are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, levies and statutory charges. Successful bidders must execute works according to sanctioned estimates, technical sanctions, specifications, BOQs, contract agreements and instructions of the competent authority. Additional performance security and quality assurance security will apply where required under Punjab Local Government (Works) Rules 2017 and the prescribed bidding documents. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids before issuance of the work order under Rule 35 of Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
