Foot Mouth Disease Compartments Establishment Tender Notice
Description
Expression of interest for establishment of foot and mouth disease free compartments. Applications are invited from eligible private livestock farm owners meeting specified eligibility criteria including gated boundary wall with biosecurity measures, separate quarantine unit, minimum herd size of 300 large animals and proper housing facilities. Government support includes free vaccination of susceptible animals and tagging of large animals within the buffer zone during the project period. Applicants must submit ownership or lease records, infrastructure evidence and business plans relating to livestock products and value addition. Written consent for maintenance of disease control measures is required.
