Operation Of School Canteens Food Services Tender Notice
Description
Operation of 23 school canteens including provision of fresh hygienic nutritious and high-quality food services for students and staff during school hours. The selected operator shall operate canteens at assigned campuses in Karachi, Interior Sindh and Quetta, comply with canteen policy, health and hygiene SOPs, display approved menu items and prices, install and maintain kitchen equipment if required, employ uniformed police-verified staff with valid medical certificates, and pay agreed monthly rent and utility charges. Eligible bidders must possess valid NTN or STRN, registered business status, minimum 3-5 years experience in school institutional or industrial food services, at least two verifiable institutional references, knowledge of HACCP food safety principles, food handler certificates, medical clearance certificates, police verification certificates, financial capacity for kitchen setup equipment and uniforms, ability to provide post-dated security cheques equivalent to six months license fee and no outstanding dues or blacklisting record. Proposal shall be submitted through sealed envelope marked Canteen Operator Proposal - Confidential. Required documents include expression of interest, CNIC, NTN, business registration certificate, proposed menu with prices and portion sizes, staff details and relevant food safety certifications. Shortlisted operators will be invited for site visit, menu tasting and interview before final selection.
