Hospital Scrap Materials Obsolete Equipment Auction Tender Notice
Description
Auction and disposal of scrap materials on an as-is where-is basis including condemned hospital furniture, miscellaneous scrap items, scrap iron, scrap plastic cans of 4 litre capacity and similar items, scrap dry batteries and condemned electro-medical machinery. Interested bidders may inspect the lots during office hours from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM before the auction. Sealed bids shall be submitted by 10:30 AM on the auction date together with a refundable Pay Order or Demand Draft of Rs.500,000 in favour of the Hospital Director Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad, a certified copy of the CNIC and the original receipt of the non-refundable registration fee of Rs.1,500. The auction shall commence at 11:00 AM under the supervision of the Auction Committee. Successful bidders shall immediately deposit 50% of the accepted bid amount for each lot, pay the remaining balance within seven days after approval of the Hospital Director and remove the purchased material, otherwise a daily storage charge of 0.5% of the bid amount shall apply. Applicable Federal and Provincial taxes including Income Tax and General Sales Tax shall be paid separately. Bidders must be registered with FBR, have Active Taxpayer List status and must not be blacklisted by any organization. Pro Tip: This auction includes hospital scrap, condemned furniture, scrap metal, obsolete electro-medical equipment, recyclable plastic containers, dry batteries, salvage materials, surplus assets and institutional scrap disposal for recycling and resale.
