Cooked Food Miscellaneous Items Emergency Medicines Supply Tender Notice

Description

Supply of cooked food, miscellaneous items and emergency medicines for a Sub Jail for the financial year 2026-2027 with an estimated procurement value of approximately PKR 6,000,000. Electronic tenders are invited through the EPAD e-procurement system from contractors registered with the relevant tax authorities and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority. Online bids shall be submitted through EPAD by 2026-07-20 at 10:30 AM and opened on the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of the procurement committee and bidder representatives. Tender documents may be downloaded from the EPAD and KPPRA websites. A call deposit equal to 20 percent of the tender value issued by a scheduled bank in the name of the concerned Sub Jail shall be uploaded with the bid and the original submitted before bid opening, failing which the bid shall be rejected and the bidder may be debarred for one year. All applicable taxes shall be paid under prevailing laws. Delayed or substandard supplies may result in procurement from the open market at the contractor's risk, legal action and blacklisting. The competent committee may reject any tender. Successful bidders shall execute an agreement and furnish a performance guarantee equal to 10 percent of the contract value. Bidders shall provide the certificate required under Section 15 of the KPFS&HFA Act, 2014. If cooking within the jail premises is not feasible, the successful contractor shall prepare food at a suitable location within one kilometre of the jail after obtaining the required clearance.
