Cooked Food Miscellaneous Items Emergency Medicines Malakand Supply Tender Notice

Description

Electronic tenders are invited for the supply of cooked food, miscellaneous items and emergency medicines for Sub Jail Malakand and Internment Centre Malakand for the financial year 2026-2027 with an estimated procurement value of approximately PKR 30,000,000. Interested contractors registered with sales tax, income tax and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority shall submit bids through the EPADS e-procurement system. Online bids shall be submitted by 2026-07-22 at 12:30 PM and opened on the same day at 01:00 PM in the presence of bidder representatives and the procurement committee. Tender documents and required schedules may be downloaded from the EPADS, KPPRA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Prisons websites. A call deposit equal to 20 percent of the tender value issued by a scheduled bank in the name of Superintendent Sub Jail Malakand shall be uploaded through EPADS and the original shall be submitted before bid opening, otherwise the bid shall be rejected. Contractors shall pay all applicable taxes including income tax, sales tax, professional tax and stamp duty under prevailing laws. Delayed or substandard supplies may result in procurement from the open market at the contractor's risk, recovery of additional costs, legal action and blacklisting. The procurement committee reserves the right to reject any or all bids for valid reasons. Final approval shall be granted by the Deputy Inspector General Prisons. All supplies shall be delivered to Sub Jail Malakand and Internment Centre Malakand. Call deposits shall be verified by the issuing bank. Bidders shall produce the certificate required under Section 15 of the KPFS&HFA Act, 2014, otherwise the bid shall be treated as non-responsive. The successful bidder shall execute an agreement and furnish a performance guarantee equal to 10 percent of the contract value in the form of a bank guarantee. If the bid opening day is declared a public holiday, bids shall be opened on the next working day. Only contractors not blacklisted by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or the Prisons Department are eligible.
