Procurement through framework contracts for the purchase of stationery and computer stationery items - repair and renovation of police buildings - repair of police vehicles including tyres, tubes, batteries, spare parts, filters and lubricants - miscellaneous store items including electronic and electrical items, sanitary items, cleaning materials, dietary articles, flexes, crockery, sports items, fingerprint items, ice, coal, rifle oil, chindi, water filter cartridges, IT equipment, tents, tarpaulins, barriers, ammunition, anti-riot kits, polo sticks, bullet proof jackets, long range shells, short range shells, masks, ordinance store items, tables, chairs, sofas, air conditioners, water dispensers, water coolers, UPS, air coolers, beds, boxes, cupboards, safes, nawar, knee and elbow guards, mosquito nets, torches, binoculars, accordion barriers, bottom view mirrors, double layer barriers, printing items and chemicals, and repair of machinery, equipment and office furniture. Estimated value is PKR 68 million with bid security of 2% according to each procurement head. Bids shall be submitted electronically through E-PADS using a single stage two envelope bidding procedure with separate technical and financial bids. Original bid security in the form of CDR, bank draft, demand draft or pay order and original affidavit shall also be submitted in hard copy before bid opening. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant registration authorities including income tax, sales tax, Punjab sales tax where applicable and professional tax authorities and possess relevant experience. Performance guarantee of 10% of the total contract value shall be required from successful bidders. Technical samples or brochures where required must be submitted within five days after bid opening.
