Auction Of Scrap Machinery Furniture And It Items Tender Notice
Description
Auction on an as-is where-is basis for disposal of iron machinery, steel almirahs, wooden furniture, IT items and other miscellaneous items of the Civil Engineering Department. Interested bidders may inspect the auction items during office hours from 03-08-2026 to 12-08-2026. Auction forms are available against a non-refundable fee of PKR 1,000 to be deposited in the University account. Sealed offers must be submitted to the Chairman Civil Engineering Department by 19-08-2026 at 11:00 AM and the auction will commence on the same day at 12:00 PM. Every bidder shall deposit a refundable security of PKR 100,000 along with a certified copy of the CNIC before participating in the auction. No bidder shall be allowed to participate without the security deposit. The successful bidder shall pay 50% of the bid amount immediately and the remaining amount before taking possession of the auctioned items. Income tax at 10% for filers and 20% for non-filers shall be payable in accordance with government rules. The successful bidder shall remove the purchased items within three days, failing which the security may be forfeited. UET employees are not eligible to participate and the auction committee reserves the right to amend the conditions or cancel the auction without assigning any reason. Pro Tip: This auction includes scrap machinery, steel almirahs, office furniture, wooden furniture, IT equipment, surplus assets, obsolete equipment, institutional scrap and reusable engineering department inventory offered on an as-is where-is basis.
