Transportation Of Wheat To Civil Supply Depots Tender Notice

Sealed tenders are invited from reputed contractors, firms and transport companies for transportation of wheat from bulk and sub-bulk depots to designated Civil Supply Depots across Gilgit-Baltistan for the financial year 2026-2027. Procurement shall be conducted under the Single Stage-One Envelope procedure in accordance with GB PPRA Rule 39(a). Transportation destinations include Shayar Nagar, Upper Kachura, Naji Skardu, Madapur, Wangokhar, Mang, Dum Sum, Kundros, Meh Storo, Sinoga, Tujay, Manoabad, Sher Quli Astore, Diamer, Tangir, Korangah Tangir, Thak, Jhal, Niat and other notified supply depots. Bids shall be submitted by 10:00 AM and opened at 10:30 AM. Tender rates shall be quoted on a per kilogram basis inclusive of all applicable taxes, loading, unloading and handling charges. Each bid shall be accompanied by a separate bid security equal to 3% of the quoted amount for each destination. Successful bidders shall furnish a Performance Guarantee in the form of CDR, TDR or other acceptable financial instrument in favour of the Director Food Gilgit-Baltistan. Eligible bidders must demonstrate a minimum bank transaction history of Rs.5000000.00 during the preceding year, ownership of immovable property valued at not less than Rs.10000000.00 supported by verified property documents, at least three years of relevant transport experience, non-blacklisting affidavit, police verification certificate and valid enlistment renewal with the Food Department. Separate sealed Technical Bid and Financial Bid envelopes are mandatory. Contractors shall bear full responsibility for any loss of wheat during transportation.
