Revamping Municipal Waiting Sheds Tender Notice
Description
Revamping of existing waiting sheds in the city area of Municipal Corporation Bahawalpur on item rates basis through the Punjab e-Procurement System under the Single Stage One Envelope procedure. The estimated cost is Rs. 4,750,000 and bid security is Rs. 237,500, equal to 5% of estimated cost. Eligible engineering firms and contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category or codes and registered for GST, NTN and PST may participate. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bid security equal to 5% of estimated price must be paid and uploaded through the prescribed electronic mechanism before the closing time, with a copy of the payment receipt or challan submitted to the Municipal Corporation office and the original receipt presented to the Tender Opening Committee at least half an hour before opening. Bids will be retrieved electronically and quoted rates announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee and participating contractors or representatives. The procuring agency may increase or decrease quantities and may reject bids under PPRA Rule 35. Non-responsive bids will be rejected and detailed terms and conditions are contained in the bidding documents.
