Description

Procurement of goods for Financial Year 2026-27 including - local purchase of emergency medicines - surgical disposables and medicines - vaccines and biologicals - dental items - laboratory and blood bank reagents and chemicals - medical gases and allied items - furniture and fixtures - electrical and plumbing items - contingency items - medical instruments and equipment - information technology IT equipment - X-ray films - stationery items - bedding and clothing items - ECG and ultrasound accessories and items - printing and publication. The contract and rates shall remain valid up to 30 June 2027 or until award of a subsequent contract, whichever is later. Bidding documents contain specifications eligibility criteria terms and conditions and may be obtained from the office or e-PADS portal. Bids must be prepared on original firm letterhead, signed and stamped on each page, with rates in figures and words; handwritten, overwritten or unauthenticated corrections may lead to rejection. Bids shall be submitted electronically through e-PADS under the Single Stage - One Envelope procedure, with the original Bid Security CDR submitted through Registered Post/GPO by the stated deadline. Electronic bids will be opened at 11:30 AM on 15 September 2026. Where applicable, Proprietary Certificate or Authorization Certificate from the manufacturer or distributor is required. Bidders must be registered with e-PADS, Federal Board of Revenue and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority in the same legal entity name. Bid security must be uploaded on e-PADS and the original CDR submitted in favour of the Medical Superintendent. For Serial Nos. 1 to 3, bidders must possess a valid Category-A Drug Sale License. A separate bid is required for each item or service. Applicable Government taxes and duties will be deducted at source. The successful bidder shall execute the contract on prescribed Judicial E-Stamp Paper, while the Competent Authority may accept or reject bids under Rule 47 of the KPPRA Procurement of Goods, Works and Services Rules, 2014. This procurement covers emergency medicines, surgical supplies, vaccines, biologicals, medical instruments, laboratory reagents, medical gases, IT equipment, electrical and plumbing supplies, furniture, stationery and related hospital requirements, providing relevant terminology for medicine procurement, medical equipment supply, surgical disposables, laboratory reagents, blood bank supplies, hospital consumables, healthcare equipment, pharmaceutical supplies and institutional procurement.
