Canal Bank Strengthening Side Protection Works Tender Notice

Execution of checking side erosion and strengthening weak sites of Pakpattan Canal Upper from RD 255+000 to 305+000 in Rasulpur Sub Division, with estimated cost of Rs. 726,675, earnest money or bid security of Rs. 36,334 equal to 5% of estimated cost and completion period of 15 days; and strengthening weak bank sites and side protection on 2R/5L Minor between RD 19+000 to 20+000 R/S., with estimated cost of Rs. 502,451, earnest money or bid security of Rs. 25,123 and completion period of 10 days. Tenders are invited from engineering firms or contractors licensed by Pakistan Engineering Council under the Single Stage-One Envelope bidding procedure on item-rate basis under the 2nd Bi-Annual Market Rate System from 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026 and approved Non-Scheduled Rates. Eligible firms must be registered with Punjab e-Procurement System and PEC with the required specialization and must provide valid PEC registration, professional tax receipt, CNIC, enlistment or renewal fees and Punjab Revenue Authority registration for 2026-27. Bid security shall be deposited digitally through Punjab e-Procurement System and physical CDR or bank guarantee will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted online by 24 September 2026 at 12:30 PM and bids will be retrieved and responsive quoted rates announced on 24 September 2026 at 01:00 PM in the presence of bidders or authorized representatives. Bid validity is 90 days from the opening date. The successful bidder shall furnish a 10% performance guarantee, execute the agreement within 15 days of the acceptance letter and provide a time-bound execution schedule. Rates must be quoted against each DNIT or BOQ item rather than percentage, and incomplete or conditional bids will be non-responsive.
