Description
Framework contract for day-to-day local purchase of medicines and medical devices including surgical and disposable items for financial year 2026-27. Eligible bidders, manufacturers and authorized sales and service dealers may participate. The estimated cost is Rs.2.5 million and bid security is 2% of the estimated cost. Procurement shall be conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System under the Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure in accordance with Rule 38(2) of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Bids must be uploaded electronically and bid security deposited through online PSID in the prescribed manner. Bids must include best and final prices inclusive of taxes, duties and levies, with applicable tax registration certificates. Bids received by the deadline will be opened electronically. The procurement of medicines and medical devices is also governed by the Drugs Act 1976 and DRAP Act 2012 and rules made thereunder. Relevant terminology includes medicines, medical devices, surgical items, disposable medical supplies, pharmaceutical products and hospital consumables.
