Construction And Rehabilitation Of Roads In Jhelum City Tender Notice

Two municipal road infrastructure schemes are invited for procurement through e-PADS for Municipal Committee Jhelum. The first scheme is construction of a PCC road from Degree College to Bihari Colony, Jhelum City, with an estimated cost of Rs. 120,515,529, technical sanction reference CE(North)PLGB-TS (02-MC Jhelum) dated 28 September 2026, and bid security of Rs. 6,025,776. The second scheme is improvement and rehabilitation of the road from Katchery Chowk to Mir Mutaqeem Chowk, Karimpura Road, Jhelum City, with an estimated cost of Rs. 85,543,379, technical sanction reference CE(North)PLGB-TS (01-MC Jhelum) dated 28 September 2026, and bid security of Rs. 4,277,169. Eligible contractors, firms, manufacturers and authorized dealers must be registered with FBR, PRA, PPRA and the relevant Pakistan Engineering Council category. Electronic bids must be uploaded as PDF files through the e-PADS portal. Bid security must accompany each bid and be submitted electronically in the name of Municipal Committee Jhelum. Bidding shall follow the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure under the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on 27 October 2026 and will be opened at 2:30 PM on the same date at the Municipal Committee Office, Jhelum. Corrupt, unreadable or virus-infected electronic bids will be rejected. Conditional tenders will not be accepted, and tendered rates and amounts must be stated in figures and words. If the submission date falls on an official holiday, the next working day will apply. Bid validity is 120 days. Bidders are responsible for timely uploading of their bids, and the procuring authority reserves the right to reject all bids under Rule 35 of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014.
