Supply Of Foam Mattresses For Punjab Prisons Tender Notice
Description
Supply and delivery of 25,000 foam mattresses fitted with water-resistant parachute covers for Punjab Prisons. The estimated procurement value is PKR 175,000,000 and bid security is 2%, amounting to PKR 3,500,000. Eligible mattress manufacturers based in Pakistan must be registered with relevant registration and tax authorities and hold a valid National Tax Number and Punjab sales tax registration. Bidding will follow the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure under Rule 38(2)(a) of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, using the least-cost method. Electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab e-procurement system by 30 October 2026 at 3:00 PM and will open at 3:30 PM the same day. Five samples are required, and bidders must pay laboratory testing fees; all laboratory and analysis expenses related to inspection and supply are the bidder’s responsibility. Delivery is required on an F.O.R. Jail Gates basis. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 19 October 2026 at 3:00 PM. A performance guarantee equal to 3% of the contract price must be submitted electronically.
