Rehabilitation Widening Roads Sahiwal Tender Notice

Description

Rehabilitation, improvement and widening of four road schemes in District Sahiwal through electronic tendering. The first scheme covers the road from Girls College Road to Bhutta Petroleum Chowk via Mazdoor Pully, measuring 1.50 km, with estimated cost of Rs. 215.761 million, bid security of Rs. 10.789 million and completion period of four months. The second scheme covers the road from DPO Chowk to College Chowk via DPS up to Rajbah Culvert, including widening of Rajbah Culvert, measuring 3.20 km, with estimated cost of Rs. 314.347 million, bid security of Rs. 15.718 million and completion period of four months. The third scheme covers Circle Road from Comprehensive Chowk to Stop No. 1 Fareed Town, including the link to the graveyard, measuring 3.85 km, with estimated cost of Rs. 179.478 million, bid security of Rs. 8.974 million and completion period of four months. The fourth scheme covers the road from DPO Chowk to High Street via Government Commerce College and Maternity Hospital, including the link to Church Road and Khokha Bazar to PTCL Exchange, measuring 1.80 km, with estimated cost of Rs. 174.892 million, bid security of Rs. 8.745 million and completion period of four months. Contractors must hold valid Pakistan Engineering Council registration and a renewed licence for financial year 2026-27 in the relevant category and specification codes and must be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System. Bids must be submitted electronically with bid security equal to 5 percent of estimated cost through digital online payment; physical CDRs, pay orders and demand drafts are not accepted. Item rates, item totals and the grand total must be quoted in the financial proposal. Percentage rates above or below the estimated or DNIT cost are not acceptable. The lowest evaluated bidder must submit performance security equal to 10 percent of the contract amount within 15 days of receipt of the offer letter through an accepted financial instrument, valid for three months beyond the completion or extended completion period. Fake information or documents may result in disqualification and disciplinary proceedings. Claims for work completed must be submitted electronically and processed through the Digital Measurement Book. No price-variation cost overrun is admissible. Responsive bids will be downloaded and quoted rates announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee at the office of the Commissioner Sahiwal Division, Sahiwal. The procuring agency may reject bids under PPRA Clause 35.
