Procurement General Store Items University Tender Notice
Description
Procurement of general store items for the Government Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur, during financial year 2026–2027. The estimated procurement cost is PKR 3,704,500, with bid security of PKR 185,225, equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost. Eligible firms, companies, suppliers, manufacturers, authorized agents, dealers and distributors must be registered with the relevant income tax and general sales tax authorities. Bidding documents containing detailed specifications, quantities, terms and conditions are available free of cost through the Punjab e-Procurement System, Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website and university website. Bidding will follow the single-stage two-envelope procedure under Rule 38(2)(a) of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted separately through the relevant electronic sections of the procurement system. The complete electronic bid, required documents and bid security must be uploaded by 30 October 2026 at 10:00 AM; technical proposals will be opened electronically at 10:30 AM on the same date in the presence of attending bidders’ representatives. Rates must be quoted on an FOR/DDP basis. Late bids, conditional bids and bids with incomplete mandatory documentation may be rejected as non-responsive. Cutting and overwriting are not allowed. If the opening date falls on a public or officially declared holiday, the next working day will apply subject to the prescribed procedure. The university reserves the right to reject all bids before acceptance under Rule 35.
