Punjab Thalassaemia and Other Genetic Disorders Prevention and Research Institute invites bids for a framework contract for purchase of Beta Thalassaemia testing supplies, including 500-test kits for Variant-II haemoglobin HPLC-based testing systems and two controls. The estimated cost is Rs. 14.147 million, and bid security is 2% of the estimated cost. Only firms registered with the relevant registration authorities and tax departments may participate. Bidding follows the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure under Rule 38(2)(a) of Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, as amended. Bidding documents are available from the office of the Director General or through the PPRA and Punjab e-Procurement websites. Bidders must upload complete authenticated PDF proposals through the Punjab e-Procurement System and deliver the original bid security in a clearly marked envelope to the Director General’s office before the submission deadline. Electronic bids close at 11:00 AM on 27 October 2026 and open at 11:30 AM the same day. Conditional tenders will not be accepted. The original CDR, pay order or demand draft from a scheduled bank is mandatory, and bids without original security will be rejected. If the scheduled date is a public holiday or non-working day, the next official working day will apply. The institute may increase the quantity by up to 15% under the applicable rules.
