Construction Of Watch Towers At Hangu And Kohat Tender Notice

Kohat Forest Division invites electronic bids from experienced contractors, suppliers and firms for two separate packages: construction of a watch tower at Hangu and construction of a watch tower at Kohat. Each package has an estimated cost of Rs. 6 million and requires bid security of Rs. 120,000, equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost. Bidding will follow the Single Stage Single Envelope financial procedure under KPPRA Rules 2014. Eligible bidders must be registered on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa e-procurement system and hold valid NTN, GST, KPRA and relevant PEC registration for the current financial year. Electronic bids must be submitted by 11:30 AM on 5 November 2026 and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM. Each package must be quoted separately, and the original 2% CDR with the required affidavit must also be delivered in a separately sealed envelope before closing. Only a call deposit from a scheduled bank is accepted; pay orders and bank drafts are not acceptable. Rates must be quoted on FOR basis and include applicable taxes and stamp duties. Bids that are incomplete, conditional, late, manual or inconsistent with the uploaded scanned documents will be rejected. Bids quoted more than 10% and up to 20% below the engineer’s estimate require additional security of 8% of the estimate; bids more than 20% below require additional security equal to the differential amount and detailed rate analysis.
