Fatima Jinnah Women University invites electronic bids on a lot-wise basis for procurement of furniture and fixtures for Campus I and Campus II. The procurement comprises 15 lots: executive chairs and tables for City Campus estimated at Rs. 710,000 with bid security of Rs. 14,200; classroom and office chairs for City Campus estimated at Rs. 10,606,000 with bid security of Rs. 212,120; racks, cabinets and almirahs for City Campus estimated at Rs. 4,463,000 with bid security of Rs. 89,260; computer tables and office tables for City Campus estimated at Rs. 4,623,000 with bid security of Rs. 92,460; executive sofa sets for City Campus estimated at Rs. 1,687,500 with bid security of Rs. 33,750; revolving and fixed chairs for City Campus estimated at Rs. 6,613,000 with bid security of Rs. 132,260; blinds, chik, curtains and carpets for City Campus estimated at Rs. 2,417,800 with bid security of Rs. 48,356; miscellaneous items for City Campus estimated at Rs. 741,000 with bid security of Rs. 14,820; furniture for the TV Studio at City Campus estimated at Rs. 260,000 with bid security of Rs. 5,200; library furniture for City Campus estimated at Rs. 2,813,500 with bid security of Rs. 56,270; furniture for Fine Arts and Computer Arts at City Campus estimated at Rs. 1,740,000 with bid security of Rs. 34,800; moot court room furniture for Campus II estimated at Rs. 4,310,000 with bid security of Rs. 86,200; racks, stools, cabinets and almirahs for Campus II estimated at Rs. 2,046,000 with bid security of Rs. 40,920; tables and chairs for Campus II estimated at Rs. 3,371,000 with bid security of Rs. 67,420; and blinds for Campus II estimated at Rs. 1,710,000 with bid security of Rs. 34,200. Bidding shall follow the Single Stage - Two Envelope Procedure, with separate electronic bids submitted for each lot and separate contracts awarded for each lot. Evaluation shall be conducted lot-wise under Rule 38-A of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, and technically compliant lowest evaluated bids shall be accepted. Interested bidders, including firms, companies, sole proprietors and general order suppliers, must be registered with relevant registration authorities and tax departments, including Income Tax, Sales Tax and Punjab Sales Tax authorities, and must be active tax filers. Prices must be quoted in Pakistani Rupees, with General Sales Tax indicated separately wherever applicable. Quoted prices must remain valid for 90 days and may be extended for another 30 days. Bid security equivalent to 2% of the estimated price of each lot must be submitted or transferred electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System in collaboration with the Bank of Punjab. Bids without the prescribed earnest money or with insufficient bid security shall not be entertained. Complete electronic bids must be uploaded through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Submission through email, courier or by hand shall be rejected. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 10 November 2026 at 11:00 AM at the FJWU Purchase Office. Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions and specifications are available free of cost through the Punjab e-Procurement System, Punjab PPRA website and university website. Bidders must register on the Punjab e-Procurement System, with registration assistance available through helpline 1248. The university reserves the right to reject all electronic bids or proposals before acceptance and shall communicate the grounds upon request without being required to justify those grounds. In case an official or local holiday falls on the submission date, the next working day shall automatically become the bid opening date.
