Fatima Jinnah Women University invites sealed electronic bids on lot-wise basis for procurement of other machinery and equipment for Campus I, Campus II and FJWU Hostel for financial year 2026-27. The procurement comprises 16 lots: photocopier machines estimated at Rs. 6,403,683 with bid security of Rs. 192,110; cheque writing machine estimated at Rs. 62,395 with bid security of Rs. 1,872; electrical equipment estimated at Rs. 287,625 with bid security of Rs. 8,629; water dispensers for Campus I and II estimated at Rs. 441,320 with bid security of Rs. 13,240; fans estimated at Rs. 1,009,622 with bid security of Rs. 30,289; UPS, batteries and power backup systems for Campus I and II estimated at Rs. 8,572,918 with bid security of Rs. 257,188; medical equipment estimated at Rs. 25,488 with bid security of Rs. 765; LED screens for Campus I and II estimated at Rs. 2,987,760 with bid security of Rs. 89,633; miscellaneous other machinery for Campus I and II estimated at Rs. 595,244 with bid security of Rs. 17,857; sound system equipment for Campus I and II estimated at Rs. 9,406,573 with bid security of Rs. 282,197; DSLR cameras and studio lights estimated at Rs. 3,022,942 with bid security of Rs. 90,688; tools for Campus I and II estimated at Rs. 1,747,232 with bid security of Rs. 52,417; floor cleaning machine estimated at Rs. 297,360 with bid security of Rs. 8,921; pumps and motors estimated at Rs. 1,773,328 with bid security of Rs. 53,200; hostel equipment estimated at Rs. 2,279,405 with bid security of Rs. 68,382; and electric heaters estimated at Rs. 440,541 with bid security of Rs. 13,216. Bidding shall be conducted through the Single Stage - Two Envelope Procedure, with separate electronic bids submitted for each lot and separate contracts awarded for each lot. Evaluation shall be carried out lot-wise under Rule 38-A of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, and technically compliant lowest evaluated electronic bids shall be accepted. Interested bidders, including firms, companies, sole proprietors and general order suppliers, must be registered with relevant registration authorities and tax departments, including Income Tax, Sales Tax and Punjab Sales Tax authorities, and must be active tax filers. Prices must be quoted in Pakistani Rupees, with General Sales Tax indicated separately wherever applicable. Quoted prices must remain valid for 90 days and may be extended for another 30 days. Bid security equivalent to 3% of the estimated cost of each lot must be submitted or transferred electronically through the Punjab e-Procurement System in collaboration with the Bank of Punjab. Bids without the prescribed earnest money or with insufficient bid security shall not be entertained. Complete electronic bids must be uploaded through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Submission through email, courier, post or by hand shall not be accepted. Bidders are responsible for uploading their bids before the deadline, and the university shall not be responsible for technical or other submission issues. Bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions and specifications are available free of cost through the Punjab e-Procurement System, Punjab PPRA website and university website. Bidders must register on the Punjab e-Procurement System, with registration assistance available through helpline 1248. The university reserves the right to reject all electronic bids or proposals before acceptance and shall communicate the grounds upon request without being required to justify those grounds. In case an official or local holiday falls on the submission date, the next working day shall automatically become the bid opening date.
