Description

Procurement of equipment for NRPU Project 20-143413-36 for the Electronics Engineering Department, comprising three separate lots: Lot 1 for laptops with estimated cost of Rs.300,000 and fixed bid security of Rs.6,000; Lot 2 for high-end workstations with estimated cost of Rs.2,500,000 and fixed bid security of Rs.50,000; and Lot 3 for drones with estimated cost of Rs.3,000,000 and fixed bid security of Rs.60,000. Quantities and detailed specifications are provided in the bidding documents. Bids are invited from firms, companies, sole proprietors, general-order service providers and joint ventures, where applicable, engaged in trading and registered with relevant registration authorities and tax departments for income tax, sales tax and Punjab sales tax, as applicable. Bidding shall be conducted on a lot-wise basis under the Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure, with separate bids and separate contract awards for each lot. Each electronic bid must be accompanied by the specified bid security in favour of the Treasurer, University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft or pay order submitted or transferred electronically through the e-Procurement System in collaboration with the Bank of Punjab. Complete bids must be submitted online through the Punjab E-Procurement System. Technical and financial bids will be opened electronically on the announced date. Late bids shall be rejected. Bidders are responsible for uploading their proposals before the submission deadline, and the university shall not be responsible for submission problems. Bidding documents are available online through the university website and PPRA website. If the submission date falls on an official holiday, the next day shall be treated as the closing date.
