Municipal Committee Khanewal invites electronic bids from contractors, firms, manufacturers and authorized dealers registered on the Punjab e-procurement system, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) with NTN and PNTN, and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category for rehabilitation and improvement works under the Punjab Cities Program (PCP). The procurement comprises eight development schemes: Rehabilitation and Improvement of Chak Shahana Road to Girls College Chowk Khanewal (estimated cost Rs. 17,975,360; bid security Rs. 898,764) - Rehabilitation and Improvement of City Park to Peer Siraaj Chowk Khanewal (Rs. 6,987,840; bid security Rs. 349,392) - Rehabilitation and Improvement of Tariq Abad Nasir Park Road (Rs. 4,077,400; bid security Rs. 203,870) - Rehabilitation and Improvement of Tariq Abad Main Road Khanewal (Rs. 8,278,920; bid security Rs. 413,946) - Rehabilitation and Improvement of Gahu Shala Road from Bismillah Chowk to Sabzi Mandi Road Khanewal (Rs. 7,812,600; bid security Rs. 390,630) - Rehabilitation and Improvement of Nizam Abad Road Khanewal (Rs. 28,656,800; bid security Rs. 1,332,840) - Rehabilitation and Improvement of City Park to Stadium Road (Rs. 15,542,840; bid security Rs. 777,142) - Rehabilitation and Improvement of Gujer Chowk to Deaf and Dumb School Khanewal (Rs. 23,305,560; bid security Rs. 1,165,278). Bidders must submit complete and authenticated electronic bids by uploading PDF files through the Punjab e-procurement portal using the Single Stage Single Envelope bidding procedure. Bid security equivalent to 5% of the estimated price must be submitted electronically through the Punjab e-procurement system in accordance with PPRA instructions; physical bid security instruments are not acceptable. The electronic bid opening is scheduled for 23 November 2026 at 11:30 AM. Bids will remain valid for 120 days. Conditional tenders will not be accepted, and bids containing corrupt, unreadable or virus-infected files are liable to rejection. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject all bids under Rule 35 of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. The lowest evaluated bidder must furnish performance security equivalent to 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of receipt of the letter of intent, in favour of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Khanewal, through the e-procurement system in the form of CDR or bank guarantee only. Unquoted item rates may result in rejection. Electronic submission is the bidder's responsibility.
