Three development schemes for Municipal Corporation Murree for financial year 2026-27: construction of street or road from Kohala Bridal Road to the house of Capt. Taha Shaheed, Rawat, estimated cost Rs. 5,589,179, technical sanction No. 390/Mo(I) MCR dated 03-10-2026 and 5% earnest money Rs. 279,459; upgradation and beautification of Darya Gali Bazaar and allied works, estimated cost Rs. 19,119,020, technical sanction CE(North)PLGB-TS(1-MC Murree)2026 dated 03-11-2026 and 5% earnest money Rs. 955,951; and upgradation and beautification of Ratti Gali Bazaar and allied works, estimated cost Rs. 18,328,422, technical sanction CE(North)PLGB-TS(2-MC Murree)2026 dated 03-11-2026 and 5% earnest money Rs. 916,421. Tenders are invited through Punjab E-Procurement System from contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council. Contractors must register on the e-Procurement portal and upload a valid PEC licence, valid CNIC, PRA registration and NTN. Bid security equal to 5% of estimated cost must be submitted electronically through Punjab E-Procurement System; physical CDRs, pay orders and bank guarantees will not be accepted. Contractors must complete the BOQ electronically and quote item-wise rates only by 24-11-2026 at 10:00 AM. Contractors will participate in the tendering process on 24-11-2026 at 10:45 AM. The successful bidder will be announced on the same date at 11:30 AM in the office of Municipal Corporation Murree, Tehsil and District Murree, in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee through the e-Procurement portal. Incomplete, incorrect, unreadable, corrupted, virus-infected or improperly submitted bids will be rejected. If the scheduled opening date falls on a public holiday, bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue. Where the total tendered amount is equal to or less than 5% of the approved estimate or DNIT amount, the lowest bidder must deposit additional performance security or quality assurance guarantee equal to 10% of the amount below the estimated cost within 15 days, under Finance Department Notifications No. RO(Tech)FD-1-12/83 VI(P) dated 24-01-2006 and No. RO(Tech)FD-1-12/210 dated 04-09-2012. This security will be refunded six months after successful completion of the work or contract. Failure to comply will result in cancellation of the tender and forfeiture of earnest money. The procuring agency may reject all bids before acceptance under Rule 35 of PPRA Rules.
