Cooked Food Medicines Miscellaneous Items Supply Tender Notice

Description

Supply of cooked food, medicines and miscellaneous items for prisoners and detainees of Sub Jail Dasu Kohistan for the financial year 2026-2027 with an estimated procurement value of PKR 10,000,000 on a delivery basis up to the jail gate. Only bidders registered with EPADS and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority are eligible to participate. Firms not already registered may obtain registration through the EPADS website before participation. Tender documents and required schedules may be downloaded from the EPADS website and submitted electronically. Online bids shall be submitted through EPADS by 2026-07-23 at 10:00 AM and opened online on the same day at 10:30 AM in the presence of participating bidders. Bids shall be processed in accordance with KPPRA instructions. A call deposit equal to 20 percent of the tender value issued by a scheduled bank in the name of Superintendent Sub Jail Dasu Kohistan shall be uploaded with the bid and the original submitted before bid opening, failing which the bid shall be rejected. Call deposits shall be verified by the issuing bank. Successful bidders shall execute an agreement and furnish a performance guarantee equal to 20 percent of the contract value in the form of a bank guarantee. Contractors shall pay all applicable taxes including income tax, sales tax, professional tax and stamp duty. Supplies shall be accepted after inspection and satisfactory verification. Delayed or substandard supplies may result in procurement from the open market at the contractor's risk, recovery of price differences, forfeiture of security and blacklisting. Bidders shall possess valid KPPRA, FBR, sales tax and KP Food Authority registrations including the certificate required under Section 15 of the KPFS&HFA Act, 2014. The Deputy Inspector General Prisons Hazara Region Haripur and the procurement committee reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
